Took me a few chapters to get into it. Does the front have to be so... technobabble heavy? There were so many acronyms and other things it was making my head spin, then all of a sudden the book starts speaking English to me and I'm enjoying it!

Working through my stack of library books.

I'm reading books... what the hell is happening to me?!?!?!?! Seriously though, this is pretty ridiculous in the best way.

One day someone will turn this into the best scifi movie ever made or completely ruin it...

Still amazed how one and the same book can be both visionary and embarrassingly wrong at the same time...

Too bad this book is so heavy on the satire, so busy pointing out American flaws, that it makes it hard to enjoy the otherwise fascinating story...

Just finished. It was good. Some what confusing with the theology stuff. Although it did feel a little slap stick at times. I didn't expect that. On to THE DIAMOND AGE.

Chapter 56 and this is really getting interesting!

So I think we're up to a "so-so" with this after 17 chapters or so.

7 chapters in and this is improving beyond the level of Cyberpunk 101 term paper.

gary i am finally starting this! william gibson recommends it so it should be decent!

Haven't enjoyed a book so much in a long time.

Rereading this book. The author was talked about at the Farscape convention last month.
I do love a bit of cyberpunk.

This book has hyperboles of its hyperboles. Loving the satire element in here.

Just finished! I loved this book--you just need a healthy dose of suspension-of-disbelief, and open minded-ness. It's like reading about an alternate universe. Also, made my brain hurt and about 3/4ths of the way through the religion/brain hacking is a bit of hard reading...worth it though. The ending was interesting, if a bit disappointing. :P
