Finished for book club. This was a beautiful book and ended up liking it more than expected.

All of Lisa See's books are excellent--this one covers decades of friendship

This novel was amazing, breathtaking, powerful, just an over all great read. I really do recommend this to my fellow bookworms.

Considering I've done all my duties at work tonight and I still have 6 hrs to go, I'm gonna go ahead and say that I'm finishing this tonight!

Currently reading 'Snow Flower and the Secret Fan' on my new Kindle Fire. So far, so good!

I'm about halfway through and it is fabulous!

The sadness of being a woman and the burden. Traditional Chinese stories. I ache the whole of me aches!!!

So I'm at the part where her mother in law is telling her not to talk tho her friend anymore and I'm afraid to read further

I had no idea a movie was coming out based on this book. The previews look amazing - I can't wait to see this.

I love this book such beautiful imagery. I still have pages to read I look forward what happens in the end. I know this sounds corney but I hope that she chooses friendship.

Just finished. Great book but not really uplifiting. Although, I think it does a great job of showing women's lives during this time in imperial China.

Listening to the audio book. Foot binding, arranged marriages and personal loss counter balanced by deep friendship and hope. Very interesting so far...
