Continuing the series...

Starting today. Going publication route.

Whenever I think of Ender I see him as Luke Skywalker only less whiney.

A lot slower than the two previous books, but just as engaging. Card really manages to get super philosophical and deep without it feeling like he's beating you over the head with it.

By the end of the book I had such a hard time picturing Andrew Wiggen the 35yr old Speaker for the Dead. It made me sad for the boy he used to be: impressionable but hard, with all his life before him to change. Ironically, he did change, and in the best ways possible. Can't wait to get into Xenocide (for the hundredth time)!

Just finished Ender's Game an Ender's Shadow. Figured I'd try this one out next

The mutilated corpse on the hillside was not his death, it was merely his death's debris. Death itself was the empty place in her life.

Listening to the audio version of the book 2 in the Ender's game series of 4 books.

Not as easy to get into as Ender's Game but I'm going to stick with it. I like it how it's the book OSC always wanted to write.

Done. Started slow and very different from Ender's Game...but turned out to be a great story.

Almost done, then have to decide if continuing from here or going to the next book in Bean's story.

Speaker for the Dead chapter about Jane: "She felt as if her dearest and only friend, her lover, her husband, her brother, her father, her child--all telling her, abruptly, inexplicably, that she should cease to exist." Best moment in the book so far. This POV chapter echos James Joyce's Ulysses! Jane is one of the more fascinating AI characters in pop culture. The only two women Ender is in love with are his sister and a computer program. Dude has major issues.

Had to wait a while to get this but very excited to get in to it.

ive been even slower at starting this one than i was Ender's Game...

Just finished it, amazing book! On to book 3!

Such a good book. I need to read the whole saga

I WILL finish this today!!! It is taking me far too long to read this one
