John Larsen favorited and reviewed this via GetGlue.com2 monthsOnce again, this book just goes to show that the best wisdom is often found in science fiction. Valentine Michael Smith has a lot to teach humanity, and not just the planet Earth that appears in Heinlein's masterpiece here. From the lofty idea of water-brothers to the practical suggestions on how to have the perfect kiss, there are so many reasons to read this novel. It is my belief that it should be required reading in high schools the world over, and - I truly believe this - if more people took this book to heart, the world could be a more peaceful and loving place because of it. Do you grok?

The First Book was like a Bible that guided My Life since it first was published! Today I still feel it would be the best type of Society that could exist! I still live my life with Principles of the Book!
