Judy Blume was one of my - and Im sure a lot of girls' - favorite authors during those "awkward teen years". I cherish my original Blume Collection and my daughters have enjoyed as well. Published in '98, "Summer Sisters", a risque, highly sexual, adult novel, follows two close friends during the Summers of '77 through their present day life (1995), their friendship, relationships, trials, and coming of age. "Summer Sisters" proves Blume can captivate and maintain her *now adult* fans/followers.

Started a new book. My Momma says it's good.

I read all the Judy Blume books as a kid. I loved the Ramona and Beezus stories. I am excited to read this one that geared more toward adults

my best friend gave this to me as a birthday present. have read this more than 10x and it still never fail to make me cry.

So it started out slow, but turned out to be a very good book!!

the ending aways did make me tear up. since middle school, ive loved this book & im glad that hasnt changed <3
