i've never read Hemingway before. i have to say, of all the amazing things i've read that have made me feel inadequate about my writing, somehow this takes the cake.

What can I say about this book. It wasn't my cup of tea, but it was worth reading.

Finished. It was ... manly. Might need to read more. Hemingway cherry has been popped.

Finally got around to finishing this. Can't honestly say that I was impressed as I should have been.

Hemingway is quite a bit wordier than I expected, in ways that detract from the story rather than adding to it.

I am not loving this book. Hopefully it gets better.

Just finished reading it and I need to rant about this. There's a lot of drama but not quite enough. I mean, if I had to watch the woman I love fooling around with a bunch of dudes, knowing it's just because I can't perform, I would be pissed to say the least. However, Jake is the most relaxed character in the whole book!!! There's something fundamentally wrong with this, if you ask me.

I'm still on page 43. Haven't read it in ages. Gotta finish it
