This book was just as good as The Kite Runner, the ending really surprised me though.

Beautiful story... just starting this again, read it a while ago... I love forgetting and rereading.

In "Splendid Suns", he examines that same tragedy, hardship, and sacrifice, but this time, through a relationship between two women.

Right now I just feel bad for Miriam; I really hope things start looking up for her.

Wonderful storytelling! Halfway through the novel and it's a great read, though rather depressing. However I'm learning quite a lot about Afghanistan's history.

Amazing book. Almost finished.
