I was watching the PBS Nova about quantum theory, teleportation and time travel last week. It basically said IF someone or something was to be teleported on the molecular level (think Star Trek), the original person would have to be destroyed on the sending site. Then on the receiving site, the person or object would have to be rebuilt or reassembled. I heard that and really had to do a double-take because that theory was brought up in this book, that I had finished a week earlier!!!
