Bought this at 1/2 price books saturday evening, now on page 556, making good progress

I had heard the audiobook by the time of release, but nothing compares to actually reading it. In my opinion, the book still is a step back from all the glorious plot developments and the narrative pace portrayed in its prequel (save some exceptions), which is due mostly to the fact 90ish% of the storyline happens at the same time of that from The Gathering Storm. However, I must admit the book is better on paper than on "tape", and still has good moments worth of the Wheel of Time saga.

I have been rereading this series for a year now - finally on to new material!

The final book is set to be released on my 40th bday... Can't wait!

I saw the book while I was in Greenbelt. I bought it, of course. :-) Didn't even know that the paperback was already out. It's time to revisit my favorite moments. Oooooh! Where to begin? Lol!

Took almost 200 pages for Mat to finally show up. And, Lan's finally back! I'm really liking how the pace of this book is picking ip.

I'm so ashamed to admit I'm still reading this series. But 13 books in, I've got to see it through to the end.

Sigh... It's happening so fast!
