Really insightful for someone who has never had an eating disorder. I can almost feel her pain and struggles.

I started to read it and it made me sad. I had to stop. Then ironically I watched my box set of Ally McBeal and just was thinking about Portia so I am going to finish the book.

Listened with Audible (dot) com. It was a whole unique, heartwrenching experience to her Portia speak her words. Highly Recommend.

I loved Portia D. in Ally McBeal. But I was saddened to see how wasted away her body became! Glad she's been working on this!

Compelling, thought provoking and difficult to put down

End of book. Glad that that's all behind her. It took Portia 20 years to go through it all but took me a week to learn about it....unfair right?

I'm about halfway through this and I can't put it down. Fascinating. I am hoping by the end of the book, she is able to turn around the demons in her head. <3 Highly recommended reading.

Finally got the book today, will hopefully start reading in the next few days. Intrigued and nervous.
