The Vampire Chronicles Series are the best books with vampires. This is one of my favourites.

I wished they hadn't mashed together this book and The Queen Of The Damned to make the movie Queen Of The Damned. I did like the movie, just wished they made two separate ones.

Than we are given an equally engaging present day story, one that will have you aching to read the next novel Queen of the Damned

Great read if you don't mind when Rice delves into the history for a while...
