Coffee and a Book Chick Yes, the book is always much better! While a film never captures the essence of a story, I did love the film's beautiful visual effects, although they adapted the story lines quite differently. I'm almost done with it now and am enjoying it. I looked up the author online and it appears he was at one time a horror writer and he wrote this book to begin moving away from that genre.
