Christopher Dawes graduated from Colgate University, is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, and has worked for two large financial institutions as a Product Manager, in addition to being a prolific filmmaker. He has produced over 30 mini-documentaries on a wide range of topics. He edited and co-produced a 6-episode proof of concept for a web news and feature show which reached over 60,000 viewers in India. In 2008, Chris wrote and starred in the one-person short film, "Long Night's Journey Into Day", which screened at the 2009 CineSlam Film Festival. In 2009, Chris was selected as 1 of 8 filmmakers out of over 200 applicants to attend the prestigious Kopkind Filmmaker's Retreat in Vermont. He was an assistant editor for In The Life Media. In The Life is presented by WNET/Thirteen and is seen on more than 246 analog and digital stations in the United States and Canada, reaching more than 75 million households. He edited, "Yes & No", an independent short film by award-winning director Kelsy Chauvin, which is set to appear in festivals by 2010. He is currently the Associate Producer, Assistant Director, Editor, and Archivist for the film, "Hidden Things", a groundbreaking documentary unearthing hidden history from prehistoric times up until the mid twentieth century.
