D. Neville Yes.. He does,.. He's in Ellen often ..
-

D. Neville On the show.. Not "in".. Grr silly auto spell
-

Susan He is? O.O I've gotta start watching Ellen! I love hearing him speak semi-Australian. (Too bad he's losing his accent. In the few interviews I've seen, he seems to keep switching back and forth between American and Aussie.)

Susan (He played an American lawyer on The Guardian for four years before the Mentalist.)

Susan The Guardian was a really good show. The guy who plays Archie/Jiminy Cricket was his buddy on that show; he was on an episode of the Mentalist a couple of seasons ago too. So how often is he on Ellen? (Bummer, he only seems to daytime shows!)
-

Susan Oh, as for The Guardian, they were reshowing them on the cable channel Sleuth a year or two ago; might still be on!
-

Maria Elena Keeter-Carignan I don't watch ellen hardly at all and he might've been on some late nite shows, I watch Leno usually or Craig sometimes, just don't recall at this point. sorry... If i see him again I will post it...
-

Susan @70floridatan Thanks! I watch Craigy almost every night, but so far he hasn't had Simon on that I know about, but I have seen him on Letterman twice now, and once on Tavis Smiley.
-

D. Neville @mooncove he's not losing his accent... He just an actor playing an America roll... ;)
-

D. Neville @70floridatan yes, saw him there too.. I miss Regis!!
-

D. Neville @mooncove since they film in same building.. Abt every 3mo.
-

Susan Ah, same building, eh? That explains it! (Same reason SNL and 30 Rock cast members are such frequent guests on Jimmy Fallon's show!

Susan @deena_neville I have frequent voice conversations with a friend in Australia, and when I see Simon in interviews, his accent doesn't sound like my friend in Australia. I asked another Australian friend to watch the interview, and she said she could hear him slipping back and forth between American and Aussie too. (Acting you're right, though, he is doing a very good American accent--almost too good, and between that and living in California for so many years and his kids growing up there, I think it's affected his Aussie accent. How could it not? But I suspect when he's talking to another Australian, it comes right back.

D. Neville @mooncove O wow, didn't kno that... Hmmmm.. I guess he better start talking to other mates...lol
