I didn't think anything could top "Doomsday" from the Series 2 soundtrack, but "This is Gallifrey" does.

Kim Roger I agree. I get goosebumps when I hear it on my surround system. Preferably with very loud sound. It is absolutely fabulous.

Ruth I've starting training to do a 5K in April, and "This is Gallifrey" often gives me that extra push that I need to keep going when I'm starting to feel tired. Murray Gold is a genius.

Kim Roger Good to hear.I thought that maybe I just liked it because I love Doctor Who. But his music is just perfect.

Jennifer Evans-Ragland Indeed. "This is Gallifrey" has to be my favorite of all of Murray Gold's compositions for the series. That song still has the ability to give me goosebumps to this day...it is the one song that no matter how craptastic of a day I am having I can play & it makes it all better..*g* I do have to point out a HUGE error on this page, oh Guru...for some reason, this album is listed as by Ben Foster when in fact it should read "by Murray Gold". While I do love Ben & think that he has a talent that almost equal's Murray's as proven by the soundtrack to Torchwood's Children of Earth, this is a mistake that really galls me. Is there any way this can be fixed? Thanks! (Ben Foster does usually do the conducting for the BBC National Orchestra of Wales when it comes to soundtrack music, so maybe that is where the mistake was made? But the conductor is not the composer in this case...)

Ruth Unfortunately, I don't think I can edit that via my Guru editing powers. I agree with you that it is a huge mistake and I'll bring it to Glue's attention; perhaps they can remedy it.

Jennifer Evans-Ragland I certainly hope so! And thank you for at least trying. The effort is greatly appreciated. I'm listening to the Series 4-Specials soundtrack right now and am about falling over myself with my love for Murray Gold & the BBC National Orchestra of Wales...lol..
