This is a strong thriller, and a great introduction to Nick Heller. He's a problem solver, and is a hero in the vein of Lee Child's Jack Reacher and Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp. I got my hands on an early copy of Buried Secrets, the next installment, and it delivers. This is a series to watch.
