Electric Elle Bishop

This album is so special to me. I'd always known who The Beatles were but never bothered to give them a chance, then after being given a huge box of LPs and becoming intrigued by the awe-inspiring art work (masterpiece, thank you Peter) I spun it and just fell in love with the composition. This album has the most varied and perfect mixture of genres and tones, every song reflects a different mood and every track belongs. It ignited my love for The Beatles.

Sgt Peppers was a foot in the water of a concept album, even though it never actually emulated to one The Beatles still invented the idea of a concept album, something which in following era's and even today is a huge phenomenon worldwide. The Beatles are the biggest influence on something they didn't even do, that's more genius than influencing something that you did do.
