For someone like me who loves symphonic metal and Old Norse mythology, this album is a no-brainer. Fraught with Wagnerian leitmotif, this album takes the listener on a journey through the nine world of the Old Norse cosmos. I understand very few of the lyrics, but the ambiance and melody tells the stories just fine.
