Thisun H What an imagination! He created a 6000 year history of an entire world during his lifetime.
I liked the Silmarilion more than others, although the Hobbit is the funniest. -
katie i agree! it's unbelievable. he wrote languages, developed maps, he had to know everything and plan everything before writing. LOTR and the Hobbit are absolute triumphs of imagination and literature! -
MOMMYKOGGIBOO I really must confess here that you all have done such an amazing job paying tribute to one of the most incredible wonders of this crazy world of ours, Tolkien, that I must simply say, Ditto!!! :o) Well, that & that if anyone out there believes in time travel or what have you, that is simply one of the only explanations for such wonder and creativity!!! -
