No book can convey the beauty of seeing even 1 of these in person. There is a little church that has some amazing Caravaggio's & standing in the Sistine Chapel will be a memory I will never forget.
Rome & Italy as a whole are so full of beautiful pieces from this time that it's easy to overlook some of them.
