Scott How do you get to be the Guru of anything in Getglue?

Ashmi Elizabeth Dang Like a series and write a review for it. Interact with people on the topic's page. At a certain point, in the Reviews tab for the topic, you'll see a link to try and get people to make you a Guru on that topic.

BionicSusan(GGAC) ...Breaking Bad is the penultimate show on AMC. Walt was a chemistry teacher who was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer, underwent a lobectomy and chemotherapy. Due to his "mad skills" as a chemist, along with the help of Jessie (meth head and student) they start making and selling crystal meth because Walt wants to support this family. Yes, there is "collateral damage" and yes, Walt is a bad-ass, but he only wants to ensure his wife and children are well provided for in case he does not survive his cancer. His brotherin-law, Hank, happens to be the local DEA, so yes, problemm do ensue because of that, but I recommend if you are going to watch this magnificent show...start from the beginning. The acting is genuine, heartfelt, and the production is a thing of beauty.

Elisabeth Jurkiewicz @raebabee - Your sarcasm does not go unnoticed in this thread. Perhaps some of the newer members of the GG Community didn't actually understand the process of Guru. By enlightening us all on the definitions of "Review" and "Check In", one might draw the conclusion that you are being rude. Perhaps that is one of the things that you enjoy about being the "Evil Goddess of the Glue". I use GG to take a few moments away from a very hectic life that the majority of us encounter on a daily basis. Perhaps you had a frustrating day also? @karen bingham should not feel the need to apologize. By calling a review "worthless" you quickly judge someone based on a minor glimpse of their life. Someone petty enough to judge you on this same criteria might find that rude and obnoxious. Not me of course, I'm too busy writing a review of Breaking Bad.....Goodnight all.

Adam Stacoviak This was a good series. I loved it. Watched all seasons in about 1.5 months.

Rhonda My husband is an oceanographer and he loves the show. I think intellectuals appreciate quality TV programs.

BionicSusan(GGAC) I agree..my husband is an organic chemist..he loves Walt and is constantly trying to poke holes in the equations he wrote behind the blackboard...in the earlier season when Walt was still teaching. BB is my absolute favorite show on AMC...I could watch all of the seasons over and find subtle nuaces I had missed the first time...Cranston is a genius..I love an actor who "acts" without saying a word. I like Gus for the same reason.
