Beignets at Cafe Du Monde in the Quarter is a must see/do, maybe make your way to Mardi Gras World so you can get a little taste of Carnival (actually literally since I think they give you King Cake... a lot of NOLA involves food! lol), but a Streetcar ride is a cheap and easy way to sightsee certain spots....maybe it can double as transpo to The Mortuary. If your ghost interests go beyond just lore and seeing cemeteries, I recommend it. www.hauntedmortuary.com/
