Gonna weigh in on Abbey Road... The Beatles were an almost 'weren't'. The Lennon-McCartney tensions aka Eastman-Ono spat (cuz it really was all about the super Beatles' women, right?), was running full blast. And in the midst of all of that comes this amazing co-mingling of 4 musical spirits that would never be this close again. How fortunate I feel to have been around to hear it as fresh and new. How fortunate I am to have it on digital now to hear EVERYTHING that the original may have somehow 'skipped' over. The true embodiment of the word masterpiece.
