      Hithesh Devasya is watching Eastern Promises
      The first time I watched it I was struck with awe. Cronenberg's growth into one of the finest directors around was a beautiful thing to happen but it was Viggo's transformation to the Siberian Ox that left me dumbfounded. Watching this for the second time hasn't dulled any of its fine qualities.

        Hithesh Devasya The Oscars are to a sham. They usually end up honoring the cliched and ignore the masterpieces. critics rave about these films and so do the intelligent audience, only to see excellent marketing in the build up to the ceremonies take the awards away from the best and give it to the undeserving.
