Oh baby! Classic 1981 animated anthology flick based on stories from the titular print magazine (aka. 'Metal Hurlant' if you prefer the original French). Terrific voice cast (including many SCTV alumni), rocked out soundtrack that includes some great Blue Oyster Cult). The tales themselves are all wild, varied in style and genre....the 'Captain Stern' segment is a personal favourite.

Jeff C. John Candy's voice is unmistakable in his various contributions here...it's nice to hear him again.

Jeff C. The 'Den' segment (based on a character from print and earlier animation) is some pretty amazing, wacked-out sci/fantasy - flying insect mounts, freaky human sacrifice, ape-men with machine guns - wild!

Jeff C. 'B-17', by Dan O'Bannon, on the other hand, is some pretty tense modern horror. Amazing.

Jeff C. Harold Ramis is hilarious as one of the zonked-out stoner alien pilots.

Richard Goodrich @jeff1138 u are a pompous cine' snob, who uses unnecessary terms and phrases to impress yourself. i.e: titular, original french, ---- Just so you understand me, this is a terrific movie *(a favorite) that doesn't need a pseudo "film" critic defining it for the lesser cinematic readers. Sorry partner but your review is terrible and only ego masturbation.
