  Basically the same as Blue and Red, but with an irritating Pikachu following you around. Still played it to death though.

  Ben Dyer haha, the pikachu was unnecessary, and was made a lot more powerful than pikachu has ever been in any version of pokemon before or since. on the plus side though, you could obtain all three starter pokemon from red and blue without trading.
