Based on the courtroom transcripts from the trial of the Chicago 10 (notably Abbie Hoffman, Bobby Seale, Jerry Rubin, among others), who were prosecuted for organizing demonstrators who had a "youth festival" to protest the war in Vietnam in 1968 outside the Democratic National Convention, which later turned into a police riot.
This movie mixes news footage, video clips, animation, interviews w/ those involved. until the new movie (The Chicago 8) comes out in the fall of 2012.. Is the best I could find on this event. :)
