Sandra Kravitz I'm fond of beards :) -
Brian I am now afraid to say that I do not shave and only try to keep my beard trimmed ;-) -
Sandra Kravitz hahahahah great one! well, don't be, I'm happily in love with one particular beard :) -
Ekaterina Belova Do you know the link where I could see this movie in Internet? I'm afraid they don't show it in cinemas any more in my place -
Brady Masse Yes -
Alex de Brantes I love that they made this movie around Doyles Adventures of Sherlock Holmes I read as a child and have always had this image of Holmes in my mind -
Christina @Alex de Brantes Have you seen the new Sherlock Holmes series on BBC? -
Alex de Brantes No...I don't get it BBC -
Christina I think it might be distributed through other channels sometime in the near future. -
John B amazing movie all around -
Lowell R. Barsatan Sherlock & Watson are so baddass in the movie lol love it -
Christina Yeah, I know right. I kind of like it better than the other interpretations of the relationships between Holmes and Watson. -
Hannah Clay I totally agree. Robert Downey jr was phenomenal -
Christina Jude Law too! I usually don't like him in movies, but he did a great job balancing out Robert Downey Jr. in this one. Great chemistry. -
Stephen Batchelor Totally agree -
justruzal agree. waiting continue. :) -
Christina I think they started filming a few months ago. Perhaps they shall wrap soon. -
PlanetKato As a child I read and reread Sherlock Holmes. My first movie experience of Holmes was Basil Rathbone. While he physically exemplified what I thought Holmes would look like, and the voice was spot on, I still didn't get the same jolt from the movies I did from the books. Otheractors who portrayed Holmes were worse. I'm so glad Robert Downey, Jr. got himself straightened out in time to play this role in this movie. Perfection. Both lives(real and fictional) have defined the edge. Jude Law's closeted Watson is a refreshingly conflicted version of a character far too often misinterpreted as a bumbler. Bliss...finally two actors with a director who understand Conan Doyle's subject which is the scaffolding for every tale of Sherlock Holmes. Bliss! -
Kevin "Sit down have some plaid" Loria Well done, wish we had a third on the horizon
