Coppola, Oldman, Hopkins...If Keanu hadn't been in this movie, it would have been perfect! They actually stick to the book more than some movie adaptations I have seen, and the writer even adds some elements from the life of the real Vlad Dracula. About midway into the movie, it makes a transition from a simple gothic horror story into a love story, with surprisingly effective results.
