An incredible experience, including the fake movie trailers. It is significant how this double feature takes the misogyny of '70's grindhouse films and turns it on it's ear with themes of female empowerment! Although the extended dialogue scenes in the "Death Proof" have been ridiculed by some, I found them essential to the story, and not at all boring. Kurt Russell is back on his game, and his character equals some of his colorful characters of old, such as Snake Pliskin!
