the 1st Album from Eminem & arguably the 2nd #BEST Eminem album to date... the 1st best is "The Marshall Mathers LP" Dr. Dre Executive produced this one so well, nobody even knew he was white until "My Name Is" was a video on MTV's "Jam of the Week" I had the original Maxi-single of "I Just Don't Give a F**k" & it had the same cover from The Slim Shady LP...look at it, he looks like a light-skinned black guy. The child on the cover is NOT HALEY, it's a light-skinned black child. lol #GENIUS on Dr. Dre's part to trick us like that!

Kimber But does quantity equal quality? I hear Britney Spears was pretty popular there for awhile. :)

The Sandman No it doesn't...but i was only letting u know because i'm sure u had no idea about it's success in sales. *no offense* The songs that elevated it were: "Stan" which was huge for so many reasons...one of which was a subject matter that is almost NEVER touched on in hip-hop: Obsessive fans of the SAME SEX. "The Way I Am" was really a standout track because he expressed how tired he was of the media breathing down his neck about "The Slim Shady LP." & "Marshall Mathers" was a song where he uncovered his mother's obsession with Münchausen syndrome in which she added chemicals to his food, drink etc. {as seen in the video} to gain attention. He also touched on a very sensitive subject: His step dad molesting him & his creating the Marshall Mathers ego just to escape it all.
