When I reviewed the original "The Fame" I was just gettin to know what Gaga was all about. At this point its clear that Gaga is not just a one trick pony, she knows what she's doing (for the most part) and pours out catchy dance hits with ease while being an excentric character on her own.
While I still believe the original The Fame is a mixed bag of brilliant songs with not-so-great stuff, this re-release sure feels safer than ever... It just consolidates Gaga in a much more blatant confort zone. "Give em more synths and autotune!" The aditional 8 tracks could have very well been their own album. It is one big pop/dance greatness that can't be missed.
