Trust me when I say you haven't see a vampire movie like this. From the director of Korean movie masterpiece, Oldboy, here comes movie that's occasionally disturbing, filled with dark humor and sometimes too weird for its own good. It is a bleak drama about a conflicted priest-turned-vampire who fell in love with a girl. It started off calm, with occasional surprises, then everything descends into madness. Sung Kang-ho & Kim Ok-bin's performances are both magnificent, bittersweet and heartbreaking. An accomplishment in its own right. But certainly not for everyone's taste.
