I love this movie. I have a copy and watch it at least 2x a year...just fun and filled with pretty people... :)

Ok. I am a hard sell on vampire movies. Have been since Anne Rice's INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE hit the screen. I tested out this movie tonight because there was nothing else on...

The verdict is that I liked it. It was never melodramatic -- thank goodness! I HATE the melodramatic, soap-opera feel of some vampire shows. This one was straight-forward and funny. The boy starring in it was very sweet, very convincing.

4 out of 5 stars. That's my humble opinion.

I love this. I watched them faint on a video, and a friend of mine has a few. She said they faint when she starts the tractor! weird!

Met the author on Twitter. This seems like an important book. I intend to get it soon.

I first heard of her when she directed NEAR DARK, a contemporary vampire movie. She seems like a nice, humble lady. I'm happy for her!

I haven't seen HURT LOCKER yet...

we just came back from seeing this. I expected it to be a psychological thriller, and it was. I enjoyed it as such and I give it 5-stars. Ruffalo was very good... I really enjoyed his character. And of course, DiCaprio put in a flawless performance as well. Great movie experience.

I just started this book...I think it will be a Godsend for me!

The movie said that he went broke after the war... that's kind of sad. But I'm glad he did what he did by employing the Jewish prisoners.

I toyed around with the trombone in HS and learned all the slide positions for kicks. But I was a first-rate baritone/euphonium/flugabone player. Not to brag (hee hee hee), but I was First Chair and Lower Brass Section Leader... so there :)

I dated a trombone player in HS...

And not to toot my own horn, but as Band Captain my senior year, I made the trombone players run laps when they talked too much at Band Camp.... toot toot! :)

I helped the author edit this book a little, and he graciously invited me to do the forward. I learn a lot about Touch Therapies and the histories of many treatments!
