I'm a photojournalist living/working in Chillicothe, Ohio, transplanted from South Dakota. Just far enough south, I hear a lot of southern accents. And correspondingly, everyone hears that I'm not from this area. Invariably as soon as I meet someone and introduce myself, the first question they have is, "So, where you from?" I guess around here, I'm the one with the accent.
