Well this ordinary gal has now moved to our dream: Bland, Missouri!! On Dec. 28th, my hubby, Yager (our dog) and my stepson made the 1,542 mile journey from Las Vegas to Missouri. We had a few car issues and weather issues but we all made it safe and sound on late Dec. 29th. So I was lucky enough to bring in the new year as a Missourian! No more Nevada or crappy Las Vegas-sorry Harry Reid-and now I live in beauty. But that beauty does come with snakes, possums, frogs (I'm terrified of them all) and I'm sure come spring and summer other interesting things-lol. But the birds are such a gift! We have so many birdhouses and bird feeders here. And the Cardinals! Absolutely beautiful! I'm working on a species of all the birds that are here. Some of the popular ones are: Finches-several bright varieties, Cardinals, Nuthatches (they climb down the trees upside down), several bright, beautiufl species of Woodpeckers, many species of sparrows and the list goes on!
