Comicbook Artist/Creator/& VP of Jim Balent's BroadSword Comics...and Pixie.. I grew up in NYC , after spending my high school years at Anglo-American (Yes , I wore a Uniform!) , did a year at Bard for Film, a year at Parson's School of Design for Storyboarding and then finally graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a degree in Acting . Navigating careers in Education(Pre-K Teacher at NYC's Dalton School), Fashion Design ( My own label that was sold at FAO Schwartz & Sack's 5th Ave) and Children's Entertainment, I finally followed my Bliss into Comic Books! I’ve worked on many well known characters, some of which are Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Cheryl Blossom, Josie & the Pussycats , Betty&Veronica and Cosmo Girl! I also constantly contribute to New Witch Magazine. I've Design 2 T-Shirts and some Promotional Artwork for the Awesome Musicians ,Thomas Dolby and have done art for Howard Jones and now doing designs for the English Beat! Currently I reside in Pa will my True Love, Husband Jim Balent, I’m VP to his company,BroadSword Comics as well as colourist on Jim’s Tarot, Witch of the Black Rose and creator of my own project, School Bites , a manga about a school where Vampires learn to drink responsibly and a travel guide to Orlando, FL for Goths & Geeks!
