Grew up in Vernon, NJ. Worked at Mountain Creek-mostly winter, one summer, a couple golf courses, and various restaurant jobs all over the place growing up-from dish washer to line cook to bar back to bartender. After graduating high school I went to East Stroudsburg University in PA. Did a year and a half there then came home and did a year and a half at Sussex County Community College. Stopped going to school and the bartending gig wasn't cutting it. My cousin Rob had been working at sanofi pasteur, a vaccines company in the Poconos, for two years. He said, "Why don't you come out here, I can get you in as a temporary production worker". So I did, in November, 2003. After about a year and a half I got hired permanently as a Manufacturing Technician. Over the years I've been slowly moving up, and I have also been moving around-something like 12 moves in 7 years! In 2008 I started back at ESU in pursuit of my bachelor's degree part time. Currently living in the Poconos, still working at sanofi, and I plan to graduate in 2012. I still stay in touch with my 50 or so closest friends back home in NJ and I'm just living the dream.
