Responsibilities
- Participate in development of GetGlue Web Service
- Discuss design, scalability, security, etc. with the team
- Write new code for weekly iterations
- Refactor and maintain existing code
- Write tests and fix bugs
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of software engineering in Java or similar OOP languages
- Solid knowledge of basic computer science, algorithms and data structures
- Knowledge of agile software development and design patterns
- Experience with XML, XSL, and relational databases
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and Hadoop is a plus
- B.S. or higher in CS, Math or Engineering is preferred
