I don't know a lot of their work, but Fly Robin Fly is one of the most amazing disco tracks I've ever heard. Just beautiful, and showed that the genre had weight to it.

Since then I've been digging in the crates of old record shops trying to find it on vinyl and a few weeks back - GET IN! Saw Root compère a great Brit Soul/Funk night at the Barbican a few years back too - Cymande, AWB, Linda Lewis. Awesome line up. And the girl that took me? Reader, I married her.
Yeah, we need guys like this to keep coming on. Definitely brought his own flavour to dancehall and you just KNOW it's Vybz as soon as the lyric starts.
