On August 11, 1984, I married Scott W. Wood, for me it was love at first sight and I chased him till he caught me! We met in Mr. Katchers art class. We have two daughters, Megan 21 and Erin 16. I work as Event Coordinator at Michaels Crafts on South Road. I'm surrounded by creativity! I have been doing nails for 22 years now. I have my own business, My Nails Rock!. I do independent work for Nails Magazine and Nails International. I've been featured in Scratch Magazine in England, Unhas Decorates in Brazil, a Russian web site for nail art, Naglar, a Swedish nail magazine. I was the only American nail artist featured in it. I helped open fashion week in NYC in September 08. I did nails for the Illana Sunderland 611 collection at the Glass Houses at the Chelsea Tower, NYC. Then after that, the same day, went to Macy's 150th Anniversary hosting the 10th anniversary of the Sean John clothing line. In October 2008, I had work, nail art, displayed at the Unison Art Gallery, in New Paltz, NY. This September 2009, my work is on display, again, in New Paltz, at the Water Street Market. In 2009, I was chosen to represent the City of Poughkeepsie for the Walkway Over the Hudson. 25 flags and one emblem that represent, to me, the City of Poughkeepsie. In April of 2010, I did nails in NYC with Patricia Yankee, at the Priscilla of Boston bridal show. Then, the following week, I was invited to train with Patricia for Dashing Diva, in Long Island. I have done work with Deborah Lippman and photographer, Mario Testino for V Magazine, featuring Debbie Harry, Blondie.
