I am a blogger, entrepreneur and co-founder of several websites including the newsroom social media manager, SocialNewsDesk.com and CampPete.com which now has over 300,000 members. I enjoy returning to my alma mater as a member of the UF Advisory Council to the College of Journalism - Telecommunications Department. We meet to discuss the future of the program and to counsel students twice per year. I am also occasionally called upon as an adjunct professor. UF holds a special place in my heart as it is the place where I met my husband, Geoff Wilson. Geoff and I married in October 2007. We have a beautiful home in NW Gainesville and two cats - Marley and Elvis. During football season, we play host to dozens of friends and family members who come in to cheer on the Gators!
