I work from home as a medical transcriptionist via the Internet. Liberal/Democrat; huge fan of Buffyverse, Whoverse, scifi, TiVo, Xbox 360 (gamertag Red Phoenix 104). I've been married to my high school sweetheart and best friend Fred since 1998 (we've been together since 1994). We have an amazing daughter, Cate, born in 2005. I had the honor of receiving the InHealth Transcription Services first annual Most Valuable Transcriptionist award (2009). I like movies, but I love TV. I believe in having a moral code and living by it, while keeping an open mind and considering the opinions of others...or at least taking the time to know and understand an opposing argument. I place extremely high value on monogamy, without regard to gender. I believe that the mutual desire to legally officialize a loving, committed, long-term, monogamous relationship should not be discouraged or prohibited, but honored and respected. I am proud to be both a nerd and a geek (and yes, there is a difference).
