Let me 'splain. No. Is too much. Let me sum up. Born in Covington, Kentucky.. grew up in the Midwest; lived in Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. I went through 7 schools in that time, and more towns in those states than I care to think about some times. In my heart, my home town is Marengo, McHenry County, Illinois. On graduation from high school had the options of small town living of going to college or working in a factory. I took option three and joined the United States Marine Corps. Spent eight years there, and I don't regret a moment of it. During that time, I visited, lived or was stationed in Virginia, California, Washington DC, Japan, Oregon and Okinawa and a few other places along the way. I finally left the Marines and returned home to "readjust to civilian life". My home town drove me... stark raving bonkers. So.. I packed up and moved to Arizona. I've lived here for over 11 years (July 1996 to present, except for a 6 month excursion to Ithaca, NY and a year and a half back in Illinois) more time than I have lived in any one place with the same group of associations in my entire life.
