I like him as the Doctor... He's one of those Brit actors I've seen dozens of times - Shallow Grave, eXistenZ, 28 Days Later - but not quite remembered fully.

He was gorgeous in gone in 60 seconds.

Rewatching him as the Doctor per the wee-est's request. Fine by me ;)

He's shown up in a wide variety of roles (I first discovered him in the movie Shallow Grave!) -- but never seems to turn in a bad performance. I don't think he gets enough credit for his interpretation of The Doctor, and perhaps that's because he only had the role for one series. But had he not done such a superb job, would the show be as popular as it now is? Both David Tennant and Matt Smith owe a great deal to Chris for putting The Doctor back on the map, and bringing the excitement of travelling in the Tardis to a new generation of fans.
