Piera @Dragyn76 - When it comes to major movie studios, it's generally less about cojones and more about the dollar sign $$$. They probably figured Scott's movie would be a better moneymaker. But I bet Scott himself would love to see Del Toro filming Lovecraft if he had any say in the matter...
