I am so thankful for the movies that he makes; for the themes he writes and animates; for the beautiful landscapes that he draws; and for each memorable and honest characters he has created.

I've decided to do a little SG marathon. :D I love Studio Ghibli and Miyazaki. The way he sparks the imagination is both adults and children is unbelievable and possibly unprecedented. I love his ability to delegate. Some of my fave SG releases, like Grave of Fireflies, weren't even directed by him. I just hope Goro, his son, talent/eye develops more. Goro's Tales From Earthsea disappointed me.

I can watch his films repeatedly, over and over again without ever growing tired of them. No other director/artist can makes me feel like I'm so much a part of the magic like he can.
