In recent years, he starred as Alan Shore, an attorney that first appeared in The Practice ans later reprised in the spin-off Boston Legal.
Now we get to see him in a comedic role as the new CEO of Sabre/Dunder-Mifflin on the Office, replacing Kathy Bates. I know he has the skills and plenty of experience with dozens upon dozens of roles in film and tv series.

I would be amiss if I left out one of my favorite films that he starred in Stargate from 1994 ad Dr. Daniel Jackson.
