Jenna Noelle Ushkowitz (born April 28, 1986) is an American stage and television actress and singer, who is best known for her role as Tina Cohen-Chang on Glee, but before that she was an Understudy/Swing on Broadway in Spring Awakening, and over the course of the year that she was with the show she went on stages as most of the female roles at one time or another. (Anna, Ilse, Martha & Thea). She was born in Seoul, South Korea, but at three months old was adopted and raised in Long Island in New York.

When she was little, her first jobs consisted of a Jell-O commercial, and the opening credits for Sesame Street, and at the age of 9, she was a Royal Child in The King and I on Broadway. At the age of 15 she co-stared in a short film called Educated about growing up as an Asian American and the pressures placed on kids to succeed in school. She graduated from Holy Trinity high school in New York and then from Marymount Manhattan College.

After that, she worked as a bartender until getting the job in Spring Awakening in late '07/early '08. Personal life: Currently, Jenna is Dating Michael Trevino from The Vampire Diaries. The first time they were seen together was January '11, though it seems as though they've been together longer.

Tattoos: She has 7 of them, with the possibility of an 8th (there's yet to be a clear picture to prove it) 1. On the back of her left shoulder she has a heart and music staff symbol 2. On her right wrist she has the simple outline of a bird 3.

A while after getting the bird she got "Learn to fly" underneath it, lyrics from The Beetles' song Blackbird 4. On the side of her lower left arm she has "imagine" which she Lea and Kevin all got together after the Glee cast performed the John Lennon song on the show, because it was very emotional for the whole cast. 5.

Just under the inside of her left elbow, she has a small star. 6. Horizontally, along her rib cage, going from front to back, she has "all you need is love" from The Beetles' song of the same name 7.

On the back of her right shoulder she has "STRONG WILL" 8. Again there's yet to be a clear picture, but it seems as though she's got some kind of text on the inside of her lower left arm.
