There are two films that come to mind that I had first seen him in that impressed me about him as a martial arts performer and as an actor(and this was back when nearly every movie coming out was throttled with martial art scenes from Van-Damm, Stathom, and some ya woo down the street no heard of). First movie is Forbidden Kingdom and The One. In both he does an outstanding job..although admittingly, he looks way weird with blonde hair! I loved him in The One playing a duel role..one good, the other bad.
I have seen a lot more of his movies here recently..such as The Expendables and War..to name a few..and like Jackie Chan, Jet Li has made a true, respecting fan out of me. He is one person(along with Jackie Chan), I would love to meet in person.

He's good being good.... he's good being bad... and he's really cute and sensual. Don't you think?!

First ever movie I saw of Jet was "Fist of Legend", and it absolutely was a polished piece of pure perfection! I saw FOL way before it was re-released in the U.S., subtitles and all, and with no English, and I love every minute of it! Countless times I've been blown away by Jet's fierce attitude, quick-like reflexes, impressive stunts, and his yin/yang like-personality. By growing up in the arts myself and watching him at a young age, it has ignited something in me to excel further and train harder than ever before. I owe many thanks to Jet's outstanding martial arts dedication and his humbleness he carries within himself. Jet hasn't been perfect in smashing top box office charts, but non of that matters to me, what matter is that he goes out there and does his absolute best every single time.
